A pretty hot day for a race. 72 degrees at the start and 86 by the finish with 95% humidity. The course is rolling hills mostly all the way with a net uphill gain. The Course Record was shattered today though with a little help from a $500 purse. Matt Beavin finished in 1:10:xx. Joe Bell drove down to join me. I was admittedly not in race shape with not logging many miles for a few months now and just three weeks after an emergency appendectomy.
